or coupon upon your arrival. Payment for
services must be made with the receptionist before receiving
your appointment, as you will need to present your receipt
to the Massage Therapist as proof of purchase. Gift
Certificates & coupons must also be presented at time of

As a first time client you will also be asked to fill out a client information
sheet upon arrival. This information is held in strict confidence by our staff and is used to help design a treatment plan especially for
you. If you have any special
health conditions, recent surgery, or cancer patients please speak with your doctor first to be sure that massage is appropriate. Please obtain a letter of consent from your
physician and advise our Director so we may suggest the best way to serve you.
Certain prescription drugs may
also be contraindicating

insure that a session will be appropriate. It would
also be a good idea to check with your physician prior to

Types of
Massage Therapies Offered at the Massage Wellness Center
Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of the muscles
and tissues of the body to prevent and alleviate pain,
discomfort, and stress. There are many styles and types
of Therapeutic massage to include:
Swedish: This is the most well known of all
massage therapies, and depending on the Therapist
giving the session, it ca be deep or moderately
deep. Swedish massage is a full-body session
designed to stimulate circulation and provide an
overall relaxing and stress relieving experience.
Deep Tissue: This massage session is very
similar to a Swedish Massage Session, with the
difference of applying slower and deeper pressure
strokes to assist in alleviating more chronic
patterns of tension within the body.
Sports: Focuses on protocols designed
specifically for individual sports. Techniques
provide warm-up and cool down for pre and post event
and can reduce injuries, alleviate inflammation and
decrease recovery time for amateur and professional
athletes.
Reflexology: Based on a 5,000-year-old
healing system from China, these techniques address
reflex points on the feet, which have energetic
correlation to various parts of the body.
Neuromuscular Therapy: NMT utilizes specific
massage therapy, to eliminate the causes of most
neuromuscular pain patterns.
Myofascial Release: works on the principle of
gentle pressures, gentle stretches, and long holds
that achieve releases. The releases are a loosening
and softening of very tight and painful tissues.
Cancer Care Massage Therapy: Like Reiki, this
massage is designed to assist the cancer patient in
re-connecting with their self. The techniques are
very gentle and caring to the person receiving the
session. If you are seeking this type of session you
must speak with our director to set up a session.
