The Charles and Bessie Goldman Judaica Library •••

 

 

 

The Charles and Bessie Goldman Judaica Library, the Jewish Information Center of this Federation area, houses over 5,000 volumes of fiction and non-fiction books on Jewish themes for children and adults. A professional librarian and a group of dedicated, trained volunteers staff the Library. It offers a variety of services to the public. Included among them is a reference service, tailored to the individual’s need and purposes. The library also has an excellent Judaic oriented video library.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
On Tuesdays from 10:00am to 11:00am, an ESL class is held in the library.  Students from China, Poland and the Ukraine are presently in attendance.  They are studying to become American citizens, but current events are also often discussed.  If you or someone you know, would be interested in joining this group, please call the library at 973-595-0100 ext. 236.

The Jewish Genealogical Society of North Jersey is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting members with their genealogical pursuits. Jewish Historical Society
The Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey is dedicated to collecting, preserving and popularizing material of every kind having reference to the settlement and history (up to the present) of more than 160 years of Jewish life in North Jersey.
