Gymnasium Rules
1. No food or drink in the gymnasium, only clear
bottled water is allowed.
2. Proper footwear must be worn at all times. No
street shoes, boots, sandals, or scuffing sneakers
permitted.
3. Instructional classes, practices, games, clinics,
birthday parties, and special events may be
scheduled at various times. Organized events and
rentals take precedence over open gym time.
4. Minors and Adults may not play in pick up games
together.
5. All pick-up games have a maximum winning score of
9. The winning score will be reduced to 7 if more
than 10 players are waiting to play.
6. All spectators are required to view games from
the bleachers; no one may stay behind the scorer’s
table or the team chairs. |
NASM or ACE Certified Personal Trainer Needed
Must have excellent customer service skills, and a
passion for fitness.
Base pay, session rate and commission.

Wednesdays at
10:30am - Hot Legs, Killer Abs, With Denise Swan
Ready for something new & challenging? It’s all
that it says it is. Join Denise every Wednesday
in the first floor studio. All you have to do is
meet Denise and you will immediately realize her
signature training style works. The focus of
this challenging class is total core and legs.
You’ll be hooked after the first class! Denise
Swan attended The Herbert Bergof Studio, NYC,
were she studied Jazz & Modern Dance. She is
certified in Pilates as well as Balletone.
Denise has studied with the world renowned Lotte
Berk.

Night Zumba Master Class
A Great Success At the YMHA
Cool name, cool moves, great time -
Saturday night, January 5, 2008, the Y
was the place to be!
80 participants came out to the YMHA of
North Jersey to shake, shimmy & sweat
with Oneida & her Zumba girls, Deana &
Danielle. Young, old, male and female
came out to experience the latest
fitness craze. A great time was had by
all. "It was the greatest feeling, when
I looked around the room and saw 80
smiling, happy people it was awesome"

That’s right, Zumba! You heard it here
first at the "Y"! Zumba is the latest
dance fitness craze sweeping the nation.
Want to join all the fun and be a part
of what everyone is talking about? Step
into the Monday, or Thursday 5:30PM
class or the Tuesday morning 10:15 with
Oneida. Oneida Gonzalez a certified
Zumba instructor. What separates
Oneida from other instructors is her
high energy and her love of Dance. Since
she was a little girl she‘s been dancing
the Meringues, the Salsa, and many other
dances of her culture. Zumba is a high
energy fitness program set to Latin and
other international music. Zumba is a
"feel happy" workout that is great for
both the body and mind.

Try our Beginner Zumba Tuesday mornings
at 11:30.

October 15, 2007 Beto Perez,
celebrity fitness trainer and
creator of Zumba, demonstrated a
Zumba class live for the Today
Show. After the show, he gave a

Zumba instructors from around the
area including the Y’s own Oneida
Gonzalez to participate at the New
York Sports Club in Rockefeller

Group
Power is your hour of power!
This 60
minute barbell program strengthens all
your major muscles in an inspiring,
motivating group environment with
fantastic music and awesome instructors.
With simple, athletic movements such as
squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group
Power is for all ages and fitness
levels.
Group Power uses moves from traditional
strength training and programs these
movements to music, creating a simple,
fun and effective way to train in
groups. The class starts with a
comprehensive warm-up, followed by eight
songs that focus on specific muscle
groups, and finishes with a well earned
stretch.
This class is Free to members.
Non-members are welcome to try out a
class for Free.
Any non-member who wishes to continue,
can get 16 classes for only $80.

A series of mat exercises created by the late Joseph Pilates
designed to strengthen the core and balance the body.
Pilates is utilized by professional athletes, dancers and
boxers to help improve performance and Physical therapist

patients.
