Program
Registration, Cancellation, and
Credit Voucher Policy
Please register early. Many
programs have limited space, and
other programs depend upon a
certain enrollment number to
ensure they will run. For these
reasons, pre-registration by the
deadline is requested at least
one week in advance of each
program and will guarantee your
place only when accompanied by
payment. In order to receive the
member discounts on programs,
The YM-YWHA of North Jersey
requires that participants be
active members at the time of
registration and throughout the
duration of the registered
program(s). Note that the
YM-YWHA reserves the right to
make class reassignments based
on skill level and such other
factors as the YM-YWHA
determines in its reasonable
discretion.
Please be advised that the
YM-YWHA operates on a YM-YWHA
Credit Only policy and does not
issue any refunds unless
otherwise advised and approved
by a program director.
A YM-YWHA Credit applied to your
YM-YWHA account can be redeemed
with a YM-YWHA Credit Voucher
for any program (and most
services) at the YM-YWHA. It can
be used by any family member on
your account, and carries a one
year expiration date. Unless
otherwise specified in the
Program Guide, by a program
director, or on a YM-YWHA
program application, the
following cancellation policy
and YM-YWHA Credit timetable
applies to all YM-YWHA
programs:*
-
For programs that meet
fewer than 3 times:
Due to costs and booking
commitments, we regret that
we cannot offer any YM-YWHA
Credit for programs,
classes, or events that meet
fewer than three times per
programming season.
Additionally, The YM-YWHA of
North Jersey cannot be
responsible for providing
make-ups or issuing any
credit for programs missed
as a result of personal
scheduling conflicts,
illness, emergencies, or
other circumstances beyond
our control. Makeups are
scheduled only for classes
cancelled by the YM-YWHA. If
you are unable to attend a
program in this category, we
encourage you to consider
your registration fee a form
of support for the YM-YWHA,
helping us to sustain
wonderful programs.
-
For programs that meet 3+
times:
You may receive a YM-YWHA
Credit Voucher for
withdrawal from a program
when your cancellation
request conforms to the
timetable outlined below.
There is a $25 processing
fee for all transfers and
cancellations.
-
Full YM-YWHA Credit will be
granted for withdrawal from
a YM-YWHA program when a
written request is received
at least one week before the
date of the first class.
-
50% YM-YWHA Credit will be
granted for withdrawal from
a YM-YWHA program when a
written request is received
before the second class.
-
After the second class,
YM-YWHA Credit cannot be
granted.
-
All cancellation requests
must be submitted in writing
to: The YM-YWHA of North
Jersey, 1 Pike Drive, Wayne,
NJ 07470, Attn:
Registration; or by fax to
973-995-0061. Please allow
three to four weeks for
processing of your
cancellation request.
For a medical disability lasting
6 months or more, refunds will
be issued only with a written
note from a medical doctor.
* All YM-YWHA programs and
events are subject to change or
cancellation. However, in the
event that the YM-YWHA must
cancel its own program, refunds
will be issued.
* Certain YM-YWHA programs such
as SPS (Summer Play School), CV
(Camp Veritans), SSA (Summer
Sports Academy), NS (Nursery
School), KE (Kindergarten
Enrichment) have cancellation
policies that differ slightly.
Please check the appropriate
Program Guide section, program
application or check with the
program director for complete
information.
Late
Registration Policy:
A late registration fee of $25
will be assessed to all
registrations received after the
registration deadline.
(All deadlines are one week
prior to start date.)
